This represents an extremely meticulous blend of the estate’s oldest vines (plots of vines over forty years old, the two oldest plots planted in 1911 and 1913), mainly growing in Cramant Grand Cru (60%), and completed with Chouilly Grand Cru (30%) and a hint of Cuis 1er cru (10%) to give that Gimonnet-style touch of crispness.

Put this in a blind against Old Forester 1924. The King of Kentucky lost by a significant margin.. The KOK was mediocre at best. Ethanol with a little flavor.
Mission has great ‘exclusive’ selections and this Cazcanes is truly on point.
