Shipping and Returns

Shipping is included at no extra cost on all orders shipping to California over $300.

Valid on orders with a sub-total of $300 or more when shipping to California. Select rate SHIP300 to apply. Sales Tax does not apply towards SHIP300. Orders will be shipped either ground using GLS or FedEx. Cannot be combined with other discounts or coupons. Shipping included applies only to wine and spirits orders and does not apply to beer. Mission reserves the right to cancel or adjust your order. Not valid for shipping outside of California.

 

Product Availability & Accuracy Disclaimer:

Occasionally an item showing available can actually be out of stock due to various reasons. If a product you ordered is not available, we will inform you as quickly as possible and suggest alternatives or refund any paid amount for those items.

While we strive to keep our information as accurate as possible, we are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors. Should you run into an issue with products, pricing, or other general questions, please contact us. 

 

Shipping Information:

Mission Liquor only ships to CA, AK, AZ, DC, ID, NM, & NV. We ship only wine to FL, LA, ND, NE, NH, OR, & WY. We cannot ship to PO/APO/FPO or internationally.

 

Shipping orders may take up to 2 business days to process pending availability of certain products. Some items may have delays due to products being transferred to the shipping department to prepare your package.

If you are shipping using 'Mission Ground,' please allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery. For more information, please contact our shipping department at 626-794-7026.

We provide Ground Delivery through FedEx and GLS. Orders will be processed and shipped out during business days, Monday - Friday.

After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your order has been received. This does not confirm that your order will be fulfilled, as all orders are subject to the pending availability of a product. Once an order has been fulfilled, you will receive a tracking number to follow the progress of your shipment. 

 

Please ensure that your address and zip code are correct and complete (unit #, floor # etc.) when placing an order. Carriers may charge $10.00 for incorrect or incomplete information. If the recipient re-routes the shipment, the carrier will adjust the shipping rate and charge an additional $10.00 fee.

 

Returns:

We do not accept returns. Exceptions may apply for products that are defective, spoiled, or otherwise unfit for consumption. Please contact us if you have any questions or need further clarification.

If packages are returned to Mission Liquor by the shipper due to failed delivery attempts (e.g., no one available to accept the package), the products will be refunded minus a 15% restocking fee, a $5.00 return shipping fee, and all associated freight charges. Reshipping items will incur the same freight charges and a $5.00 return shipping fee.

Future shipping orders held to ship for a future date will be subject to a 15% restocking fee if canceled. 

For products damaged during shipping, please contact us at (626-794-7026 or info@missionliquor.com) so we may file a claim with the shipping company. Damaged products must be returned to receive a refund.

 

Hold Until Safe to Ship, Weather Damage, and Tainted Corks:

Some products such as wine may be weather-sensitive. Mission Liquor may delay shipping at its discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing, especially during the months of July through September. Mission Liquor is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground service once they leave the warehouse. At checkout, if you choose to Hold Until Safe to Ship, or upon request to hold, we will hold purchased wines at no additional charge until weather conditions are suitable for shipping. Should you choose to Hold Until Safe to Ship option but need your wine by a specific date, please reach out to our shipping department. (626-794-7026 or info@missionliquor.com)

 

If you receive a wine with cork taint (TCA) and it is within 30 days of the purchase date, please contact us. We do not guarantee wines after 7 years of vintage date. Please note, shipping charges are not refundable.

 

Damaged in Transit:

Should any products be damaged during shipping, please contact us by phone or email (626-794-7026, info@missionliquor.com) so we may pursue a claim with the shipping company. Please note that damaged products must be returned to receive a refund.

 

Alcoholic Beverages:

(A) Title and Taxes. We are a licensed retailer of alcoholic beverages in California. Except for orders going to permit states described below, title to and ownership of alcoholic beverages passes from us to you in California, and wines are delivered to you in California. California sales tax will be applied to these transactions, and wine will be stored on your behalf at our facility prior to pickup or fulfillment as further described in subsection (B) below. For orders going to states in which we are licensed, have a direct-to-consumer shipping permit, or where shipments are otherwise authorized (CA, FL, OR), title to and ownership of products passes from us to you in accordance with applicable requirements, and sales and other applicable taxes may be applied based on the requirements of the destination state.

(B) Fulfillment. You may pick up products at our location during our regular business hours, or you may make independent delivery arrangements. Additionally, you may also elect to have your wine order fulfilled through a third-party shipper, and you agree to allow us to provide information regarding your designated shipping destination to the third-party for fulfillment. We will provide storage of your wines pending transfer to the third-party for fulfillment. Our storage fees are $5.00 per 30-day period, and the first month’s fees are included in your purchase price.

(C) Representations. We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. You warrant that you are solely responsible for the transport of the purchased products and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of bringing the products to your chosen destination. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you are at least 21 years old, and that the person to whom products will be delivered is also at least 21 years old. The person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
