The Grande Champagne cru sits at the top of the Cognac hierarchy — chalky soils, precise climate, and a terroir built for producing eaux-de-vie that age with extraordinary grace. Lhéraud's 1973 Grande Champagne is over fifty years old, drawn from the family estate in Angeac-Charente and bottled at natural cask strength of 48% ABV. Intense dark amber with warm golden reflections, the nose is opulent and layered — dried apricots, candied citrus, honey, vanilla, and sweet oak with subtle floral depth. The palate is full-bodied and vibrant with stewed mango, ginger, caramel, and spiced butter, finishing exceptionally long with lingering grapefruit and lime. Presented in the house's signature dark textured bottle with wax medallion and matte black case. Half a century in the making.
